Quick answers
Where is my work saved?
Projects are stored locally on your iPhone. Yard Takeoff does not require an account or cloud service.
How do I move a project?
Open the project, choose Project actions, then Export plan and shopping list. Create a Project backup and save the .yardtakeoff file somewhere you control. On the destination iPhone, choose App actions, then Import project backup.
How are quantities calculated?
Each measured area, line, or counted item uses the dimensions, coverage, package size, price, and overage you enter. Package counts round up because suppliers sell whole packages. Review every assumption before purchasing.
Can Yard Takeoff replace a survey or contractor?
No. Yard Takeoff is a planning tool, not a survey, engineering, safety, or installation service. Verify measurements, supplier coverage, availability, waste, tax, delivery, site conditions, and installation requirements before ordering.
